My newest release, “Live from the Living Room, a Video EP” is here!

There’s an old Yiddish expression I’ve always loved: “We make plans, and God laughs.” It’s a humbling reminder that so much is outside our control, that life can and will surprise us.

I’m in Santa Barbara, just past halfway through my “Human Yoyo Tour,” as I’ve started calling it. I do seem to bounce down and up the coast a lot: Seattle sends the cylinder slinging south till the string is outstretched in SoCal and snaps back. Of course, we could just as easily flip our maps over, and then I’d need a whole new metaphor.

As you may have gathered from recent posts, I’m more or less diving headfirst into this new singer-songwriter thing. I’ve played a few shows and have received encouraging feedback from lots of listeners. Today is a big next step: I’m launching my new website, and releasing two new videos!
