Jonas Myers writes songs that tell stories. He puts sincere lyrics to music that combines pop structures with meditative improvisation, creating a unique and multifaceted sound. He was raised on The Beatles before branching out into jazz, R&B, folk, indie rock, and bluegrass. His songwriting heroes include Joni Mitchell, Paul Simon, Randy Newman, and Tom Waits. With years of experience as a professional musician, a love of language, and a degree in creative writing, he puts a unique stamp on the singer-songwriter craft.
Jonas is also a multi-instrumentalist who does not like to be confined to any one genre, project, or image. You may find him playing jazz piano gigs around Seattle, playing bass in a fireside folk jam, or playing mandolin at the park. He is always looking for opportunities to collaborate.
