Shows In May!

1) Friday, May 6th (Tomorrow Night!) - The Paul Miranda Trio feat. David Arteaga @ 13 Coins Seattle

9:30 to 1:30 - 125 Boren Ave. N

I'm so excited for this show! David Arteaga is one of my favorite singers to play with—he's an excellent performer who is remarkably dedicated to his craft. On bass? Osama Afifi, the world-class bassist from the house band at the Pono Ranch jam; he's also on the cover of this month's issue of Earshot Magazine! And this is my second time playing with Paul Miranda, an excellent drummer and host. I think we're gonna sound great.

2) Saturday, May 7th - The Seattle Jazz Quartet @ The Paragon

9:00 to 12:00 - 2125 Queen Anne Ave. N

The gang from the Pono Hang, with the amazing Trevor Peltier subbing in on bass. We'll also have some special guests sitting in with us.

3) Three Saturdays: May 14th, 21st, and 28th - Solo Piano @ Osteria La Spiga

8:00 to 10:30 - 1429 12th Ave.

I'm thrilled to be playing three Saturdays this month at La Spiga! It's one of my favorite restaurants in Seattle. They get everything right: the food, the drinks, the atmosphere. And their piano is beautiful. Stop by, say hi, and make a request! (Please note: there's a chance that I may not start until 9 pm on the 14th.)

4) Every Wednesday - Jam with The Seattle Jazz Quartet @ Pono Ranch

8:00 to 11:00 - 4502 Shilshole Ave. NW

It's been remarkable to be a part of this session for a few months now: I've watched it grow into a real scene. Every time there are some new jammers and some old regulars who just keep coming back. And as far as jam sessions go, the quality of the music here is as high as you're likely to find. Come join the fun! If you come once, something tells me you'll want to come again.
